Crow's foot design Cosack table lamp from the 50's

The company Gebrüder Cosack (Gecos) was founded in 1848 as a metal processing company in Neheim-Hüsten, Germany. In the beginning they made liturgical objects and crosses of brass and also made kerosene lamps. Later the company came to the production of electric lamps. After World War II, Cosack followed a modern course.

Beautiful and unique table or desk lamp, produced by the Cosack Leuchten in the 1950s. It is often claimed that this is a design by Louis Kalff, but this information is incorrect.
This lamp is absolutely grand in its design. Fits anywhere due to its modern look.
 
The leg is a cast iron tripod, also called the crow's foot, painted with crinkle paint. The hood is attached to a bent brass rod.
Slightly off-white lampshade with crinkle paint and the inside painted white. Small signs of use on the inside.
The hood is adjustable by means of a ball joint.
Overall condition is the lamp is good.

Het bedrijf Gebrüder Cosack (Gecos) werd in 1848 opgericht als een metaalverwerkingsbedrijf in Neheim-Hüsten, Duitsland. In het begin maakten ze liturgische voorwerpen en kruisen van messing en maakten ze ook petroleumlampen. Later kwam het bedrijf tot de productie van elektrische lampen. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog volgde Cosack een moderne koers.
 
Schitterende en unieke tafel- of bureaulamp, geproduceerd door de Cosack Leuchten in de jaren 50. Vaak wordt beweerd dat dit een ontwerp van Louis Kalff is, maar deze info klopt niet.
Deze lamp is absoluut groots in zijn design. Past overal door zijn moderne uitstraling. 

De poot is een gietijzeren driepoot, ook wel de kraaienpoot genoemd, beschilderd met kreukelverf. De kap zit vast aan een gebogen messing staaf.
Licht gebroken witten lampenkap met kreukelverf en de binnenkant wit gelakt. Kleine gebruikerssporen in de binnenkant.
De kap is verstelbaar door middel van een kogelgewricht.
Algehele conditie is de lamp is goed.
